Older Adult Support

Call King County 2-1-1

The main source of help for the most adults with an illness or disability is a community of unpaid caregivers such as neighbors, family and friends.

Do you live in King County and care for someone 18 years or older who is ill or has a disability?

As a caregiver, you may help out occasionally with chores or transportation, or you may arrange for, or provide round-the-clock supervision or hands-on care. Let us help connect you with services.

What services are available?

Information, Assistance & Referral Service

We can help unpaid caregivers find the supports they need to continue providing care. In some cases, this means problem-solving and connecting you with resources. In other cases, it can mean helping you connect to emotional and social supports so that you do not have to go it alone.

Respite Care Services

If you have an urgent need for relief or a break from caregiving, you may be eligible to receive short-term respite services in the home or in a community-based setting. We can offer short-term assistance while more permanent care is arranged.
